Mobility without Fragility – Built for Life on the Land

A lot of “mobile” shelters don’t last the distance — a few tows across the paddock and they start to twist, creak, or fall out of square. That’s not good enough when you’re caring for valuable horses.

Our Field Shelters are designed specifically for equestrian properties where strength and reliability matter. Each shelter is built on heavy-duty galvanised skids, complete with towing eyes and chains supplied, so you can confidently move them wherever your horses need protection — from summer shade to winter cover.

The difference is in the structure. We use properly braced upper frames constructed from 100mm–150mm structural timber, ensuring the building stays rigid and square when dragged from paddock to paddock. No racking. No warping. No compromise.

Why Heavy Timber?

Kick Proof: The structural frame absorbs impact rather than failing under loads and impacts as is the case with a common panel format construction

No Flex: The building will not twist or warp in high winds, this is a building not an equine tailored shed construction

Chew Resistant: Internal full height kickboards or a combination of vertical tongue and groove internal panelling ensures clean flat surfaces minimising the need for sharp steel chew strips.
